Why can’t soap be fun and artistic as well as good for your skin?
That’s what we asked and our answer was to found our soap company Antiquity BC, LLC.
We are two sisters, Crystal and Marlene Lizama, and we founded Antiquity BC, LLC in February of 2015—yes, the irony is we’re a new company named Antiquity BC. However, we started making soap much earlier (2009).
What we hope to accomplish is to bring as complete of an experience as possible when using our soap. We want you to be amazed not just by the quality of the soap’s ingredients, scent, color, artistic design, but by the amazing combination of all of these things.
Some things about our soap which we think it’s important you know:
All of our soaps are handmade in La Verne, California.
We use a Shea Butter and Bentonite Clay, along with olive oil, coconut oil, palm kernel oil, castor bean oil, and essential oils (depends on which of our soaps you prefer) for our base.
We use local suppliers for our ingredients and all of our soaps are paraben, phthalate free, and sustainable.
Our vibrant colors are made from clays, micas, pigments, and oxides. We limit ourselves to only what is considered natural by the FDA, meaning our colors do not contain lead or synthetic dyes.
We have put a lot of love and effort into our soaps to bring you the best quality soap we can!
